Yep, we're still here.

You have probably been wondering if we had dropped out of the blog-o-sphere after a mere two posts... or maybe you haven't... either way, here are some Christmas pics.
First off, Dave's family had a Christmas Eve mustache contest. Yikes...

Dave took second but only by one vote. His brother (far right) walked away with the trophy. :)

Here is our Christmas tree. We have a total of five ornaments and a pretty "Charlie Brown"-ish tree but I think it turned out pretty cute! Dave's parents and sister stayed the night with us on Christmas Eve and we loved having them! It's just not quite right on Christmas morning with only the two of us. These are some Christmas morning pics. Note my sweet new laptop from Dave...

On Christmas morning we went over to my parent's house to open gifts with my family. My nieces had cute matching pj's and got laptops too! :) In the picture where I am holding both of them the one with the hat on is Hope, my younger sister's daughter (she is the one in the previous post) and the other one is my older sister's daughter, Amelia. Amelia is ridiculously photogenic. If you have a camera, she will pose for you with the sweetest smile on her face ever. It takes some skill to get Hope to look at a camera for more that 3 seconds, however. They are both so amazing, I love 'em to DEATH!! My youngest sister, Hailey got a puppy for Christmas that she is also in pics of me holding Hope and Amelia but you have to look closely.

This is Hailey. She is in junior high now and is one hot MAMA, as if you couldn't tell.

Well, I have more pictures but this has taken way longer than it should have already so I'm cuttin' it off here. Enjoy!

I can't believe your little sister has a baby! In my mind, she's stuck at the same age as when I last saw her (maybe 12 years old?). And I have to admit, I forgot you had an even younger sister. I guess I only saw her a couple times when she was itty bitty. Crazy. Oh, and I love your tree and its five ornaments, by the way. I firmly believe that less is more (except for when it comes to leaving comments, obviously).

I was thinking the same thing as Kelsey!! And I can't believe how old Haily is (I still picture her as like a tiny 3 year old in my mind)!! I love that I get to keep in contact with you now Ash!! Hey-would you post some pictures of your house? I saw a little in your christmas pictures and it looks dang cute!!

Okay wait? Lindsey has a baby? Really? Wow. Michelle's kids are adorable. Are they still living in Utah? Haily is a junior. I don't think I can believe that...she was such a little pipsqueak!! We are old. I'm so glad you posted Christmas pictures. I wish I could have seen Doug and Kathy (be sure and tell them hi for me) :) I love and miss them...and what about your brothers? What is going on with them? Dave's mustache was awesome and I also loved your little tree and your house really does look so cute! Sorry we didn't get together when I was up at my parent's, but hopefully next time! I am seriously SO glad you started blogging, it makes me so happy to know what is going on with your life again. Now that this is a novel I am going to stop talking :)

Your nieces are ADORABLE!!!! Wow, we are all getting so old. I remember being in Boise for girls state basketball and Hailey hung out with Dana and I at your game. I have pictures of her totally hamming it up for the camera...now she's a junior?!? Wow. Your older sister looks exactly the same, she's so cute.

Love the tree and especially love the mustaches. Our family was going to do that but then Trevor had to shave because he had an interview with the Navy. Next year for sure!

Haha, I didn't think you were bragging at all!!! You dork. :o)
Hawaii is awesome, I agree. I think I like Kauai the best.

Okay, I thought there was no way that Hailey could be a JUNIOR! Duh, I must've read your post wrong. But junior high blows my mind, too! Man...we are O-L-D. And now I'm having a kid. What the heck??? :o) When are you getting prego????
