Baby plagiarism part duex...

I have the cutest nieces ever made and here is part two of my plagiarizing ways to prove it. I really did take these pictures off of my sister's website without her permission. The top pic is my very pregnant, very uncomfortable, yet ridiculously beautiful older sister. She is having a little boy in June, at which point I will have the cutest nephew ever made. I am such a lucky woman... although I have pretty high standards to keep up when I have a baby. Hopefully I can produce equally beautiful offspring. I'm just hoping they get Dave's looks as a baby and child because I don't know that I was the most attractive kid on the block with my "Schmegal"-like hair. (I have no idea if I spelled that right and I probably didn't but I was talking about the little creature on Lord of the Rings that always says... "my precious" all creepy-like.) Maybe I should just let my sisters produce the beautiful children and I will stick with being the greatest aunt ever. Anyway, the other pics are Amelia and she has the sweetest smile you will ever see. It will melt your heart every time.

Baby plagiarism...

We haven't really had anything exciting going on lately so I have to use other people's kids to spice up the blog. This is my niece Hope. She is hilarious and too cute for her own good... much like her mother.

So I feel like a huge dork posting a picture of just myself but the preggo lady :) (Shanah) requested more pictures to see my hair and what pregnant ladies want... pregnany ladies get! One pic will have to do though because I can't bring myself to do any more than that!

COLD weather camping...

So last Friday night Dave and I went camping over in the Palisades/Jackson area. Let me tell you that it is still a little chilly for camping. We slept in the back of the truck (which has a shell) so the actually sleeping wasn't too cold but the getting dressed and coming out of the back of the truck in the morning was the frigid part.

This is at our campsite. We camped below the Palisades dam. I think it is nearly impossible to take a good picture of Avery without her eyes looking like she is possessed so that is what you get.

These two pictures are in the back of the truck when we were going to bed for the night.

This is at the buttcrack of dawn when Avery decided she was hungry so we should get up in the sub-zero temperature and feed her breakfast. We thought maybe she would leave us alone if we opened the back of the truck so she could go wander around for a bit but no... instead she stared at us and whined and there was an ice cold draft coming into the truck.

The whole purpose of the camping trip was to find a place to have Dave's family reunion that we are in charge of this summer and we found it. This is Jackson Lake and it is beautiful! And hopefully by August it will be thawed out! :)

Also, we got into the St. George marathon!! I am really excited. I think Dave's emotions are a mixture of excitement and dread. :) I also chopped off my hair. You can't really tell in these pictures but I did and I love it.

Yikes...

So I just possibly signed us up for our first full marathon. It is the St. George Marathon so the reason I say "possibly" signed us up is because they do a lottery so we won't know if we got in until May 11th. I realize that most non-marathon type people would think it weird that so many people want to pay to run 26.2 miles that they have to do a lottery. I agree, it is weird... and I love it. Its a little scary and exciting at the same time to think about doing a full marathon. If we don't get in to St. George, we are thinking about doing Seattle, Denver or Tri-cities. We'll see!
