This is at our campsite. We camped below the Palisades dam. I think it is nearly impossible to take a good picture of Avery without her eyes looking like she is possessed so that is what you get.
These two pictures are in the back of the truck when we were going to bed for the night.
This is at the buttcrack of dawn when Avery decided she was hungry so we should get up in the sub-zero temperature and feed her breakfast. We thought maybe she would leave us alone if we opened the back of the truck so she could go wander around for a bit but no... instead she stared at us and whined and there was an ice cold draft coming into the truck.
The whole purpose of the camping trip was to find a place to have Dave's family reunion that we are in charge of this summer and we found it. This is Jackson Lake and it is beautiful! And hopefully by August it will be thawed out! :)
Also, we got into the St. George marathon!! I am really excited. I think Dave's emotions are a mixture of excitement and dread. :) I also chopped off my hair. You can't really tell in these pictures but I did and I love it.

Dude...I wish I would have known!! I live 70 miles from Jackson and we were there on Friday!! It is still pretty chilly here. BTW even when the lake melts it will most likely still be chilly, but none-the-less a beautiful spot for a family reunion!! I would love to see you when you come again so let me know next time you venture over my way :0)
Ha ha. You crack me up. Congrats on getting into St. George. My husband's family and I go up to Colter Bay every summer for a week which is on Jackson Lake and we love it. It is so beautiful. We went up in August last summer and it was a little chilly in the mornings, but by afternoon it was perfect! We are going up in July this year. You'll love it.
Wow, you guys are brave! I love the pics! And I did notice that your hair was different, you should post more pics so we can really see it. It looks really cute from what I can tell!
