We went to Seattle last weekend for a conference thing for Dave's job. It was a quick trip but fun. Most of the pictures are from our ferry boat ride. We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island which was a really cool place. It was like it's own little world. We could have taken some pretty sweet pictures there but we had a limited amount of time before we had to catch the ferry back to Seattle so the only picture we took was out the window of the car of the seagull on top of that piece of wood thing sticking out of the water. I'm sure there is a name for that piece of wood thing but I don't know it. We ate at Duke's Chowderhouse and it was SOO good!! We got some cajun chicken corn chowder and we would definitely give it two thumbs up. I also got a mahi taco and it was very good too. We also ate at a place called Pegasus Pizza which had some feta bread (like garlic bread only with mozzarella and feta cheese and sunflower seeds) that was excellent. And I don't know if any of you have ever had the cookies that they give you when you check-in at a Doubletree hotel but they are amazing! It is one of my life goals to be able to make a cookie that good. I don't know the secrets yet but I will find them believe me! We didn't have a whole lot of time to do much more than eat and ride the ferry but it was still fun to get out of town and next time we go back to Seattle (maybe to do the Seattle half marathon?) we will know what else we want to do and where we want to go.

FUN!!! I love Seattle. Besides the nasty weather, anyway. It's really fun just to walk around and of course...eat! Glad you guys were able to take a mini-vacation!
Ooh, I love Seattle too. What a great place. Sounds like a pretty good time, albeit quick.
Eric and I went to Seattle this summer...way fun!! Sounds like you guys had lots of good food!! :0)
Ok Ashley. I had forgotten how funny you are (yeah, I'm calling it senility). Saved by the bell WAS a classic show whether you were watching the Lisa dance or figuring out "life". I'm glad you had fun in Seattle. I actually loved living there. It has a ton of fun things to do.
Hey guess what the word verification for this post is ? frefun... do you think that means that you're gonna get some Free fun from somebody who can't spell, or is it some kind of genteel curse like " freakin"? hmmmmm.....
